Welcome to Arizen Spectrum Foundation
Empowering Lives, Building Skills, Promoting Wellness
We empower Albertans—especially those from marginalized and racialized communities—by supporting autistic individuals and families of all abilities through autism education, financial and tax literacy, and daily wellness through intentional movements. Together, these supports create a clear path toward independence, confidence, and well-being.

Who we help
-
Autistic and non-autistic individuals
-
Families of all abilities
-
Albertans, especially people from marginalized and racialized communities
We are building an inclusive community grounded in knowledge, health, and security.
Our Integrated Approach
We believe true independence is built on three important things:
-
Understanding how our brains work
-
Knowing how to manage money and resources
-
Moving our bodies with purpose
We bring autism education, financial literacy, and physical wellness together in one simple, supportive approach. This helps support the whole person—mind, body, and future—especially for people from marginalized and racialized communities.
What We Do
We connect neurodiversity, financial security, and physical wellness to help people feel more confident and supported.
Our programs include:
-
Autism and neurodiversity education
-
Financial and tax literacy workshops
-
Free tax clinics for people with modest incomes and simple tax needs
-
Intentional daily movement and wellness programs
Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), we work with community organizations to host free tax clinics. Trained volunteers help eligible individuals and families complete their tax returns at no cost.
“Empowerment isn’t a destination. It’s a daily practice of learning, earning, and moving.”
— Executive Director
Why We Do It
Life can feel overwhelming.
When people:
-
Struggle to understand how their brain works
-
Feel stressed or confused about money and taxes
-
Do not have support for physical and mental health
it becomes harder to reach their full potential.
Arizen Spectrum exists to make complex systems easier to understand and to provide a clear path toward a balanced, informed, and healthy life—especially for neurodivergent individuals and families from marginalized and racialized communities.
